I created these images in close collaboration with the client, who wanted a raw, immersive feel true to their live performance. The photographs were intended for documentation of their live show, but also for album artwork and social media promotion. Shot at The White Hotel, the venues low ceilings and intense lighting heavily influenced my approach as I embraced deep shadows, grain and motion blur, alongside the bursts of colour to create an ethereal light.
